After 53 years located at the top of the Economist Tower in St James’s Street the Editorial Team of The Economist Newspaper relocated to the sixth floor of the Adelphi building overlooking the river Thames. This process was part of a strategy to buy-out existing shareholders and make the Newspaper secure for an independent future and BBG was instructed to find the right property that reflected the Newspaper in terms of its brand, style, heritage and budget. A London wide search was undertaken including areas such as Victoria, Southbank, Midtown,  Kings Cross, the City. After a painstaking search and detailed financial analysis, the sixth floor of the Adelphi building, with a 2000 sq.ft. terrace and views of the Thames, was selected as being the ideal option.
